Hope you are all off to a great start in 2018 and are ready to start getting excited about participating and registering for the upcoming Canada Games in Saint John, New Brunswick, August 21 – 24, 2018.

The opportunity for Nova Scotians to participate at the Senior Games in Saint John is based on
the following criteria: To have participated in the 2017 Nova Scotia 55+ Games in Lunenburg
County. Then, in order of merit, Gold medal winners will be given first choice to go to the
Canada Games, followed by Silver medal winners second choice, Bronze medal winners third
choice, those who participated in the 2017 Nova Scotia Games but did not medal fourth choice,
and finally if our quota is still not full then open to any Nova Scotia resident to apply. This
practice of selection has always been followed in advancing to the Canada Senior Games.
