IMPORTANT

The process for registering at the Senior Games in Saint John is based on the following criteria:  To have participated in the 2017 Nova Scotia 55+ Games in Lunenburg County. Then, in order of merit, Gold medal winners will be given first choice to go to the Canada Games, followed by Silver medal winners second choice, Bronze medal winners third choice, those who participated in the 2017 Nova Scotia Games but did not medal fourth choice, and finally if our quota is still not full then open to any Nova Scotia resident to apply. This practice of selection has always been followed in advancing to the Canada Senior Games.

The opportunity for Nova Scotian’s to register is as follows:

March 1 – Registration opens for Gold Medal Winners – In events where only one team per category is permitted i.e. Curling, it is important that teams register immediately.
March 23 – Registration opens for Gold and Silver Winners where 2 or more entries in an event are permitted.
April 13 – Registration opens for Gold, Silver and Bronze Winners.
May 4 – At this point registration opens on a first come, first served basis for any team or individual who participated in the 2017 Nova Scotia Games and/or any Nova Scotia resident to apply, depending on space available in any event until the deadline of May 25th.
