Mary Murray is eighty years old, from Nova Scotia, and has attended the Canada 55+ Seniors’ Games for approximately twelve years. This year the event was held here in Kamloops, from August 23rd to the 26th.

We had a very successful and safe 55+ Provincial games in Yarmouth and Acadian Shores in 2021.
Thanks to Rick Allwright and Candice Phibbs of Mile East Productions and Neil MacKenzie and Malcolm Seaboyer of YASTA for doing such a great job organizing this huge event. There were over 700 participants in 19 different activities.

Yarmouth resident, David Doucette, a participant in the hockey and pickleball competitions at the 2021 Nova Scotia 55+ Games, hosted by the Yarmouth and Acadian Shores region of Nova Scotia, was chosen as the first recipient of the Robert Macleod “Spirit” Award at the close of this year’s Games.
